M. Thomas Jolley is Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at The Sundance Group, LLC in Provo, Utah. Established in 1988 and wholly owned by Robert Redford, The Sundance Group oversees and manages Mr. Redford’s personal, business and legal affairs, which include the Sundance Resort, Sundance Catalog, Sundance Channel, Sundance Cinemas as well as not-for-profit Sundance Institute, Sundance Film Festival and the Sundance Preserve.
Prior to Sundance, Mr. Jolley was in-house counsel with Albertson's Inc., in Boise, Idaho, then practiced law at Ballard Spahr Andrews and Ingersoll, LLP in Salt Lake City. Mr. Jolley is a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, Utah State Bar Association, Idaho Bar Association and the Urban Land Institute. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University (B.A. 1990) and the University of Nebraska College of Law (J.D., with distinction, 1996).
