Entrepreneur, travel industry icon and marketing expert Jena Gardner turned a lifelong passion for travel into a thriving enterprise. She founded JG Black Book of Travel in 2002, and has built it into the premier travel services provider, renowned for its global portfolio of authentic and distinctive experiences.
A licensed CPA with a background in luxury hotel management, Ms. Gardner has spearheaded sales and marketing efforts for Ritz-Carlton and Montana’s Triple Creek Ranch. Her understanding of the luxury market has made her a sought-after industry consultant and speaker at the Fortune Luxury Summit, Deutsche Bank Internist Convention, Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), Luxury Marketing Council and the Luxury Portfolio SUMMIT. She is a member of the Global Business Coalition, Women Presidents' Organization, Forbes Executive Women Board, Luxury Marketing Council and HSMAI. Ms. Gardner graduated with honors from the University of Montana's School of Business Administration.
Ms. Gardner credits her own life-changing journeys with giving her new perspectives on the world and wants to share that sensibility with others. In fact, she has been so profoundly touched by her travels that she sponsors eight children globally and has co-founded The Bodhi Tree Foundation sm.
After 20 years of successive entrepreneurial achievement, often involving overseas markets and developing countries, James Saleh saw an opportunity to give back. Habiquad, an exciting new business model that provides safe, affordable housing to people who need it most, seeks to prove that socially responsible entrepreneurial organizations can thrive in the competitive marketplace.
Mr. Saleh attended the University of Mississippi and began his career as an in-house salesman with a manufacturer, importer and distributor of home furnishings, where he rose to become Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and drove annual revenues from $15 million to over $95 million.
Since then, he has built several successful manufacturing, distribution, and retail businesses in global markets, including China, India, and Egypt.
Mr. Saleh is a co-founder of The Bodhi Tree Foundation sm and serves on the Board of Kate’s Club, an Atlanta-based charity that assists children facing life after the death of a parent or sibling.
M. Thomas Jolley is Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at The Sundance Group, LLC in Provo, Utah. Established in 1988 and wholly owned by Robert Redford, The Sundance Group oversees and manages Mr. Redford’s personal, business and legal affairs, which include the Sundance Resort, Sundance Catalog, Sundance Channel, Sundance Cinemas as well as not-for-profit Sundance Institute, Sundance Film Festival and the Sundance Preserve.
Prior to Sundance, Mr. Jolley was in-house counsel with Albertson's Inc., in Boise, Idaho, then practiced law at Ballard Spahr Andrews and Ingersoll, LLP in Salt Lake City. Mr. Jolley is a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, Utah State Bar Association, Idaho Bar Association and the Urban Land Institute. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University (B.A. 1990) and the University of Nebraska College of Law (J.D., with distinction, 1996).
